Introduction
Founded
in 1984, and officially registered with China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs as
social organization, China Composites Industry Association (CCIA) is a
nationwide trans-regional and trans-departmental professional organization. It
was organized on voluntary, equal and mutually-beneficial bases, with the
participation of all those member enterprises and institutions that duly
registered in the People’s Republic of China are engaged in FRP production,
distribution, design, R&D, education, materials and equipment supply.

Business Scope of CCIA
1. To communicate with the government on enterprises behalf, submit proposals
to the government and relevant departments, positively affect regulatory and
legislative outcomes.
2. To disseminate and implement the policies and statutes of the nation;
coordinate the business activity within the industry; keep the fair competition
market order.
3. To organize the enterprises to develop industry standards and maintain the
lawful rights and interest of the trade and the members of the Association.
4. To study and provide statistic data of the industry, and supervise and
evaluate the quality of finished products of the FRP industry.
5. To provide consulting and information service to the members; organize the
technical exchange activities within the industry, and disseminate new
technologies and processes; provides a forum for the composites industry to
develop and enhance shared opportunities, and promote horizontal integration
and cooperation.
6. To provide professional education service to help member enterprises train
their technical and management staff.
7. To strengthen the international cooperation positively, communicate with
foreign counterparts and conduct technological, economic and commercial
exchanges.
8. To organize professional exhibition of the industry in China and organize
the members to visit international exhibitions, facilitate overseas business
activities.
9. To form market-focused alliances through the Association, allowing for our
members to work with others in their specific industry segment in a bid to
develop China’s FRP Industry and its fields of application.
China Composites Industry Association (CCIA) has now more than 900 members,
most of which are the powerful large-scale enterprises, highly representative
of China’s FRP/Composite industry in terms of the strength and quality level,
and possessing 85% of the total production of the trade. In the recent decade,
China Composites Industry Association drove an all-round growth of China’s FRP
industry base on the development of FRP pipe and storage tank production in
China.
